Welcome!

The CARE (Collaborative Agency Resources for Escondido) Youth Project strengthens linkages and partnerships between youth, families, schools and community agencies in order to support a common goal – help grow a safer and healthier Escondido.

As a result, numerous community services agencies and youth advocacy programs are working together through the CARE Youth Project to provide a comprehensive network of resources and assistance. The goal is that no child or family is ever alone or unsupported. The wide range of school- and community-based programs and services include:

  • Safe school environments and violence prevention activities
  • Alcohol and other drug prevention activities
  • Student behavioral, social, and emotional supports
  • Mental health services
  • Early childhood social and emotional learning programs

So, what can that mean for you?  By tapping our community’s resources, our youth and their families can identify and access the programs and services needed to support their school and personal success.  Together, we can grow a safer and healthier Escondido.
